| A GREAT WEEK GETS BETTER AS HUGE 27 kW SYSTEM GETS NETWORK APPROVAL In what must be considered a vintage week by any standards was capped on Friday, when the SALOP ENERGY team received confirmation that Central Networks had approved our application to install a huge 27 kW photovoltaic system at Millington Hospital Almshouses in Frankwell, Shrewsbury. The project is in a conservation area and once again we thank Shropshire Council for their forward thinking in allowing the project to go ahead. We are however even more grateful to our clients at Millington Hospital for giving us this fantastic opportunity to showcase our talents on such a prestigious project. The 2 arrays will be generating the charity an annual income of over £9,000 for the next 25 years and a staggering annual carbon reduction of over 11 tonnes of CO2. The return on investment is well over 10% so it makes sound financial sense for the not for profit organisation. If you would like to read some further information about this project, then please view the press release. |
